What we're about
As an already existing business built over many successful years, with a strong history in the community here in Stoneclough, we strive to keep traditions alive. We pride ourselves on standing out from other nurseries and garden centres by taking a no nonsense approach. You will find no cafe or butchers here, not even a gift shop filled with items that definitely don’t belong in your garden!

We are off the beaten track, hidden away from the noise of daily life, so you are able to browse our selection of plants whilst tuning into the rhythm of nature, hear the wind whistling through the trees and the calming sound of the river. Our customers know they can rely on us for great quality plants and gardening advice they can trust. The majority of plants we have here at Giants Seat are homegrown, cared for with love and patience, along with a wide variety of perennials, ornamental and fruiting trees, shrubs, ferns, seasonal vegetables, alpines and climbers, all sourced from our trusted suppliers.

What matters most however isn’t changing! The same values, the same love for local people and the same commitment to helping gardens, and friendships, blossom. This next chapter is about honouring where we’ve come from while nurturing new ideas that will help our community bloom for years to come. Buying too many plants or trees too big for the car? We have you covered! Please enquire about our delivery service running all year round. Be advised, during our busy season, time slots will be limited.

Car Parking
Our regular customers will know how limited our car park is, so please have patience when visiting us. In the busy season, be aware it may be better to park on the service road leading down to the nursery and then walking. We have a single lane in and out with limited spaces. But our friendly faces and great plants make it worth coming down for!
